Another first day

  We've been moved in for about two week.  One week we were living here and commuting to our old school.  The 2nd week were on vacation in South Carolina.  More on that later.

  For now, just stopping by quickly to say hi and update.

  The 3 oldest started at their new school yesterday.  There was a mix of emotions as there always is.  Coming down from a vacation high, sadness with leaving McAuliffe, nervous and anxious to be at a new place.

  They all had their own dislikes and things to complain about that they will most definitely have to get used to.  I know they will.  In a short time they will have friends again.  In the meantime, I am being extra available, extra understanding of all of the feels.  Not to mention having things of my own to get used to.  Like homework!  :/

  Wasn't going to let the day pass without doing our first day of school tradition.  We live much closer to a Dairy Queen now.  I was trying to steal bites of their chocolate shells, but they seemed to like them too much!  :)

  I would say the day was a success.  It wasn't perfect, but I wasn't expecting it to be.  I'm so proud of them all!  Even Ava, who didn't go to a new school, but was so loving and kind her sad sibs.
