Disneyland

  We did it!!  Can't believe this was already a week ago as we are still feeling the magic of our kids' first trip to Disneyland.  February 10, 2016-forever marked in our family's memories.  Lots of pictures to follow.

  The goal was to get into Disneyland and not go straight to the castle like everyone else, but who can resist?!?!

  Joel was quite upset here about not being paired with Uncle Mike. You see, we had serious help!  Uncle Mike and Auntie Rachel hosted us and helped us big time with this trip.  We intended a buddy system and Joel was thinking he was banished from being with Uncle Mike because Calvin was paired with him.  We kinda scrapped that plan and just made sure we all kept tabs on them all.

    We did a little shopping while the little ones were napping and I found a similar hat to the one my sister had to have when we came when we were little.  I couldn't find the Daisy duck hat that I wanted when I was little though.

The look on this girl's face as each new float came by.  Priceless!

  He was so happy to be there and kept giving us kisses and hugs and kind words.  That's what he does when his tank is full.  So sweet.

    She LOVED the fireworks.  They have never seen fireworks before because they are always so late. Needless to say, their first show put to familiar songs was amazing!  She could not stop oohing and ahhing and telling us how much she loved it, so much so that she brought Auntie Rachel to tears.    Magical!!

  We went big and got there when the park opened at 10 and stayed till it closed after the show sometime around 9 pm.  It was a long day, but we couldn't have asked for a better experience!
