  I have been eying the forecast for this week with the expectation of a beach day.  Rain tomorrow and the next, today was it.

  I was hoping to meet a friend at our fave beach in Santa Cruz, but when she texted to confirm what I already suspected (she was sick), we took a detour and ended up at Rio Del Mar Beach in Aptos.  Just south of Capitola and Santa Cruz.  I am ready to move down there.  All the heart eyes.

We turned their pool into a Mickey pool.  Later, there were trails of streams all around it.  So fun!

  As we were leaving the kids wanted to take pictures.  Calvin's hand, haha!

  This one was way better than the 20 Joel took of our heads cut off. 

  "Do you see us in the picture?  No, you don't, it's pointing down.  Look at the phone and then push the button.  Do you see us?"  That silly boy.

The beach is our happy place.
