Calvin's first swim meet
We woke up early saturday morning to get these kids to the pool by 7 am. It was their practice meet and Calvin's first ever. If Calvin wasn't excited (which I wasn't sure if he was or not beforehand), Hannah had plenty of excitement to share.
Hannah being the good big sister she is and explaining what he's supposed to do and when. She is so wonderful! Mike comes later with the other two kids to help get them to their races while I do my stroke and turn judging shift.
Check out that rotation!!!
Oops, flipped over to find the wall. So adorable!
He was very proud of that two-hand touch. He was very concerned he would do the wrong thing when he asked what I was writing down and doing for my swim meet job. After his race, he reassured me that he touched with two hands that race. So adorable!!
Hannah did great too. And all of that early morning excitement that I thought for sure was going to exhaust her for her late races never did.
Calvin was a champ. I frankly did not know if he was even going to get on the blocks, but he did! And he has not stopped telling us how he won every race. He was so proud! "Swim meets are the best ever!"
Meanwhile, Joel was on a treasure hunt looking for every stray tennis ball left behind in the court. "Look at how many we got, Mommy! Now we can play catch foreverrrrrr."
Not to miss out on the action. Ava likes to dive too!
Successful first meet!! Love my swimmers, all 4 of them.

Is there anything cuter? Excited for a summer of swim pictures. :)
