Flower friday | Passion flower and fruit

  I don't even know where to start.  TGIF!  And flower friday at that.  I know I just blogged about the passion flower, but these I found in my yard!  It is bearing fruit and every day there is a new blossom!  And how different are these ones?  So beautiful!

  This one was growing high up on an arbor and thankfully I was able to capture some by holding my camera up and hoping I was focusing on the flower!

  I have been up to a lot since my hiatus and I probably won't completely catch you up to date, but let's just say that my calendar hanging next to my desk still says April and I am holding my breath  for next wednesday at 11:45.  Mentally I am there, I just need the calendar to catch up to me!  All those days in between April and now are kind of a blur...of course Mike's long trip.  Also, a very quick trip (that I told NO ONE, but family about) up to Seattle and down to Portland, a week of Hannah missing school due to strep throat, school functions and swim team and can we just make it all stop?!?!

  Today, because of Hannah's sickness (she is on the mend today), I had zero commitments.  Perfect for getting all of those chores done at home that never get done that drive me crazy every time I look at them.  I am just never home to get stuff done.  So I did what every mom should do and went to the beach.  It's 100 degrees here and therefore an even more perfect day to head to Santa Cruz.  Those chores, they're still here.  What's another day, really?  Haha!  To make myself feel better, I did a quick clean of the bathrooms and then we left.

  I have some really cute pictures of Layla that I would love to share.  Next week, at least that's the hope.
