Waning days
Our summer days are coming to a close, I think. Fall is making herself known each morning and on one particular day this week she was here! You all know how much I love summer, so unlike those who are already decorating for Fall (yeah, no), I am mourning the warmth.
I'm also feeling like my time as Mom to littles is near gone. I had a little time to organize my digital life a bit, and I almost burst into tears scanning through pictures of my soon-to-be 5 year old Joel. WHYYY does he have to grow up?
And then of course, my littlest little. Don't even get me started with how much she has grown. I thought my days at home with just her were going to be more plentiful and much slower. A lot less errands and running around, and a lot more of the things you do with littles. Days full of reading books, doing play-doh, and cuddling. We have had a handful of those days, but goodness I could use a whole lot more.
This is a throwback to one of those days... We were home all day, snacking on the deck, no other cares. I let her eat basically a quarter of a watermelon and paid for it when she woke up in the middle of her nap because she had to go potty. Haha! I did a quick photoshoot as she ate as I have been trying to learn my camera better and be quicker, those kids are so darn fast. You might think one girl, sitting on a chair is easy to capture, but don't be fooled by that cute face!
Happy thursday!
