A lot of stripes

  This boy.  He is ALWAYS cracking us up!  His one liners are so funny and he doesn't even know it.  He picks up sayings and then drops them at the best time.  I am trying to remember to write them down.

 

  A couple of months ago he started to be able to get changed by himself.  I just love it.  On good days, I now only have to get myself and Ava changed.  This is life changing.  :)  Joel puts on his favorite striped shorts and Russell Wilson jersey as often as he can.  When the jersey is dirty, he'll probably put on a striped shirt with his striped shorts.  He is a good sport and I tell him he has to change because "that's a lot of stripes going on."  He will often change, but sometimes he doesn't and I am too busy rushing around the house to manage that detail everytime.  So, I just grin and bear it as I look at him throughout the day.

 

Clearly, that happened on this day.  But gosh, he is a cutie regardless.

  Then, out of no where, he dropped one of his lines.  We were sitting at dinner and he was touching my polka dot shirt, and said, "That's a lot of polka dots going on there!"

 

He still has us cracking up over that one.
