Hannah's 7th birthday

  Hannah turned 7 yesterday.  7!!!!!!!!!!  In a blink of an eye...I can hardly believe it.  I know every parent says this about every birthday for each of their children, so I am sorry in advance.  Kind of.  When your first and last go through milestones, there is so much more pause.  How cute is she with her little red cup of hot chocolate from her morning birthday date with dad?

 

  She couldn't wait to open presents so I let her open them before school.  She promptly changed her outfit.  I am so glad she is a little less picky with clothes these days.

  Instead of going out to dinner as we typically do for birthdays, she chose to have Mama's home cooking.  Thank you, sweetheart, for giving me a bit of an ego boost!  :)  Katsudon, her favorite meal.  We had to eat early so we could make it to her special surprise of the day.

Ear piercing!!

  We went to a cute little shop in downtown Los Gatos that does birthday parties, little girl makeovers, and ear piercings.  Such a fun place!  She was super excited and didn't so much as flinch.

Lastly, we went out for froyo as per her request.

 

  We are having a costume party on Saturday with some of her school and church friends.  I am super excited for it because  Hannah didn't have a party last year since we had just moved down and we didn't know anybody.  She thought of the costume party idea and I was happy to oblige.  Some party prep going on around here this week, hope to share if I get a chance.
