Last week | Photo dump
I've got another random post. A lot happens in a week, all of it kind of important, but not enough substance for it's own post. This was last week.
Last week, Calvin started swim team.
He also ended his first season of swim team last week. He was not mentally ready and so we're going to wait it out and give it a go next year.
Our mulberries are ripening. I think we missed this whole season last year.
Our first tomato ripened. Yay! Homegrown tomatoes must be so embarrassed by the store bought variety.
Our strawberries are ripening still, but we don't always make it that far. She is so proud of her picking skills!
Bought our first watermelon of the season and it was gone in 36 hours.
It was a smaller one, but it was just so delicious!
Saw my first peonies of the season in the store and HAD to buy them. Peonies are the most beautiful flower in the whole world. When Mike and I have our second wedding, we are going to do it when peonies are in season.
Last week, I ate a lot of my new favorite breakfast, lunch, or afternoon snack. Salsa over an egg and avocados.
Not just any salsa. This one. You must try this salsa.
Lastly, last friday I walked into pick her up from MOPS childcare and I found her like this. Which is exactly how I've been feeling lately. That bout of sickness has taken it's toll on me! I am trying to do some immune boosting and digestive healing this week and hopefully my energy will also be restored. I am soliciting any advice you have on immune and energy boosting, please tell!
