Baby shower fun

  My friend and I hosted a baby shower this past sunday for a dear friend who is having her third and then moving away shortly after Christmas.

   We found the cutest place in downtown San Jose called The Farmer's Union that I definitely want to go back to for dinner.  Sunday wasn't very busy and so they gave us a back room which was just perfect for our little shower.

    Everyone was pretty giddy about these paper flowers we made with the baby faces inside.  Each woman took one home as a favor along with a delicious cookie in a fabric ribbon tied box.  Will share those cookies another time!

 

    One of the ladies took my camera and I just loved looking through what she captured.  We laughed, we cried (happy tears), and had a wonderful afternoon of fellowship.  The shower was delightful and we just didn't want it to end.

   And we will end with this!  She is definitely going to need help in a couple of months with a newborn, 2 older (yet still quite young) children, and moving to another state.  We are going to miss her and her family dearly.
