Birthdays and brownies and besties

If I could assess the day, I would say it was a success.

Brownie batter is pretty good!

 Hannah invited her friend over and let me just say there was a lot of giggling at the dinner table.  SO fun!

  We also sang Happy Birthday to her.  And once again, it is so easy to paint a beautiful and easy picture with one snapshot.

   But I'm all about reality here, so let's just say that one member of the family wasn't so happy at the moment.

Ava was singing enough to make up for those that weren't.  ;)

    He turned it around pretty quick and by the end of the night he took his second chance to sing Happy Birthday to his big sis.  We're all about second chances too.

  Our honey bunny.  The nickname is oh so appropriate.  Super sweet and bounding with energy.
