Mimicking Mama
She is proof that it is possible to be as cute as she is trouble. If she is not hanging on my leg, then rest assured she is the bathroom with her feet in the sink playing with the water, squirting toothpaste all over the sink, or pumping copious amounts of lotion on her hands and moisturizing the mirror. Or even better, using hand soap to clean the mirror. Super helpful!!! It's a disaster!
I have been blaming the turning two, but I'm starting to realize it might be something else. Recently, my neighbor and I have been taking turns picking up the kids which allows Ava to get the full nap she needs. On those days, she is a different girl! She doesn't need to be in my arms 24-7 and she isn't constantly whining. It was so easy to think it was her turning two and I'm sure that is partially it, but I actually think it is not long enough naps ever since school started. And guess which day the kids started school this year--Ava's 2nd birthday!! I love making those connections...parental victories! I'll take them when I can get them.
Back to blog theme. This girl mimics my every word and move. This is truly me lately.
This too. She is too much!
I know everyone knows it, but it is crazy to hear her repeat back words that are said on a common basis.
Apparently whenever Joel starts whining to me I say "I know, Doe. I know. It's okay, Doe. Okay? I know..."
She also has screamed, "Mean!" to someone who got took her stuff. Classic.
"Boys, come!"
I wish I could remember more right now, I will have to write them down.
Have a happy wednesday!
She's too cute to be trouble!
