Flower friday | herb garden

I've got some full and LUSH peonies on the table, but first up for flower friday this week, my newly planted herb garden.  I am going the minimalist route for my veggie garden this year--peppers and tomatoes.  To add a little variety, I also planted an herb garden.  Can't go wrong with fresh herbs!

Made some herb markers with the metal stamping kit I received for Mother's Day.  I started this spoon stamping project when I was stamping the dog tags for Calvin's birthday party.  My stamps are smaller than my friends, which was nice of the longer names, but I kinda want her size letters too.

I have been holding onto these spoons for years!  I bought them with this in mind for 10 cents each at the Bainbridge Island Rotary auction in 2012 I believe.  It's good to know that these ideas swirling in my head now, will eventually come to fruition years down the road.  I might be a hoarder in the process...

This is one take on an herb bouquet. ;)

I know what each herb is, and I planted more herbs than I had spoons to label with, but some things are just for looks.  And this is one of them.

  Grow, babies, grow!

Happy friday!!!!!
