Happy HolidayS

I don't know if you only believe in Merry Christmas and not Happy Holidays or the other way around.  I don't really care, but I do know that last weekend we had all sorts of celebrations and decorations going on, so Happy Holidays is more than appropriate.

It is December and I am fully prepared for advent and Christmas, but first wanted to show off my Thanksgiving table.  No pictures of the food, just the table.  We also didn't bring all of the food to the table because I didn't want to move my centerpiece.  I was/am pretty proud.  ;)

Have you seen velvet pumpkins around?  Gorgeous, gorgeous, but SO pricey. ($30 or so for the small-med ones and more for the bigger ones, no way!)  I saved our pumpkin stems so I could make my own.  SO easy.  I looked up how to do them online and I didn't think it would work they were so easy, but they do.

On Saturday, we had our 2nd Friendsgiving.  I left out some Thanksgiving table decor, but put most of the rest of the Christmas decor up since we had bought and decorated our tree by this time.  We also celebrated a birthday and the garage was decked out in pink birthday decor.  As I said to my friends, "It looks like a holiday bomb has gone off in our house.  Thanksgiving in one room, Christmas in the others, and a pink birthday party in the other."

Look!  There's Grammy sitting with the kids.  In the garage decked out for the party (check out creeper princess piñata on the right).  Grammy and Grampy came in town for Thanksgiving.

Had a wonderful night, love our tradition.  Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving too!
