SNOW in Portland
Went to Portland over the weekend. It started with Stumptown, ended with Stumptown, and there was probably some Stumptown in the middle too. It was the weekend of A LOT. A lot of snow, a lot of eating, a lot of pictures (and Boomerangs!), and a whole lot of cuteness. I'm not talking about me guys ;), I was talking about Layla. And by the way, Layla talks. A LOT!
Lunch date with Popo! We may have ventured somewhere else if the compact snow and ice weren't on all of the streets (even the main ones!). We may have not. I guess we'll never know. I will tell you one thing, their beet/carrot something-kombucha was NOT good. Everything else was excellent as usual!
Was sitting on the phone for over 30 minutes tackling some business and started flipping through some photo albums in my Grandpa's office. I know where I get my picture documenting gene from. He labelled every single photograph he took with the people in it, the date and occasion. He also labelled the pages of the album and then the album itself. I don't know what this was for, but loved seeing my sister and I with our grandmas.
And then this was fun to find. I always send photos of my friend Jackie to her family when it is one I think they haven't seen. We drove through Portland on our way to CA for our senior trip. Good times!!
Talk about perfect food for frigid weather!!
All the siblings chatting in the kitchen, snacking after dinner and dessert one night.
Such a great trip as always. I always get sad when I have to leave because I love spending time with them. On the flip side, what a wonderful thing to have such great family that loves to spend time with each other and will drop all of their plans to come over when you come in town. Thanks for the mems!
