Splash Park

      

Spent the morning at the splash park today.  Besides Ava wanting to drink the water, our time here was seamless.

I couldn't get enough of her in that little suit!

  Our friends (and neighbor) brought the buckets and that was a big hit.  Must bring buckets to the splash park next time!  I thought Joel was going to do his stomping/crying thing when the big bucket got dumped on him (because he's been doing that a lot lately), but he loved it.

  The kids were having so much fun and I was able to just relax and watch them.  No problem-solving, consequence-giving, kindness-lecturing, etc. from me.  Being outside and at the park just left us all in good moods.
