Fall swim team

    We went to our first club swim meet this past saturday, just Hannah and Calvin are swimming.  It doesn't look much different than previous swim meets, but they have their differences.  We did the normal early morning saturday drill and left by 6:15 am.  The meet was over the Santa Cruz mountains about an hour away in a town called Watsonville.  The strawberries you buy are more than likely from Watsonville.  They are the reason we still get yummy strawberries at the farmer's market in November.

  The races are longer than summer swim team, but the kids seemed to do just fine!  And swim meets are the fun part of swimming so this gave Calvin the motivation and the reminder of how much he likes swimming.  There was some serious arm pulling last week to get him to practice!

  It was a great morning!
