Ava's 4 year check up
We had Ava's 4 year check up today. I actually went to this appointment, the one I had scheduled for last week somehow slipped my mind. There was a time in my life that the kids annual check ups happened really near their birthdays, not a month after. Usually scheduled before and definitely not forgotten. I think it just might be this time of year (I hope at least), school starting, lots of appointments that I pushed off so I didn't have to sit in waiting rooms during the summer... This was the last check-up before she starts kindergarten!!!! How in the world?!
Silly faces always!
My chiropractor today was joking with me about her and called her a pistol. Boy does he know. It takes about 1 minute to figure it out. She is extra. She is personality. She is wonderful and sweet and my joy. She had our pediatrician cracking up too. So much fun. What am I going to do next year? I mean I think I'll enjoy my time for 2 weeks, maybe even a month, but after that I am going to be a big fat mess!
Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE our pediatrician??!! She found some princesses and mermaids in Ava's ears and Ava would have stayed there all day getting a check-up. That's when you know!
See some past posts on my 4 year olds/check-ups...
I hadn't started blogging yet when Hannah turned 4. I thought she was SO old when she turned 4. Which is so crazy because I think of Ava as a baby and so little. When Hannah turned 4, she already had two brothers. Calvin was 1.5 and Joel was a month old. First of all, wow, that's a lot of young babies. Second, no wonder why she seemed like such a big girl!!!
This week and last have been one long list of appointments and meetings, I am overwhelmed. Eleven appointments and meetings between this week and last and while it is not glamorous in the least, I am enjoying taking care of my kids in this way. Which looks a lot different than how it was when Hannah turned 4, but exactly how they need me to care for them right now.
Happy tuesday!
I had 3 weeks of Cros in school before Hugo showed up and man, time flies. Before you know it the clock hits 3 and it's time for pick-up. I don't think you'll be a mess at all.
