Lavendar farm
We went to Woodinville Lavendar this past Saturday. It is absolutely gorgeous!! When I see such beautiful farm country, I am taken to another place. It's like I'm on vacation, exploring something new. I am not sure where I got the idea of going to a lavender farm, but I wanted to go really bad. I tend to get ideas in my head and can't shake them, so we went on our first available Saturday in a long time! The nice thing about living in Bellevue is that it is so much closer to get to all of the farms.
This is Provence lavender, a culinary type. We cut our own bouquet of this variety. There were bees all around, but the kids still wanted to get in there and cut away!
Here I am with my 39 week belly!
You can see our bouquet a bit better here. It's currently hanging upside down drying so we can enjoy it for a long time! I may even try to make some it into a wreath, they were selling them there and were beautiful.
We had a ton of lavender at our old house, but never clipped or dried it. I just never really knew exactly what you were supposed to do. Now I do. Cut it off the bush. Hang it upside down. Would have been hard to figure out, I know. :)
You look amazing Lindsay!!! Seriously beautiful with your belly :-)
