Happy Easter

Happy Easter, from all of us here in Cali!

 

 

 

  11 years ago, I was baptized on Easter.  My life is drastically different now than that Easter I was baptized.  There are many reasons I was baptized, but 4 of them are right here.  I would not be the mother I am today, without the help of Jesus.  I have no doubt that he gives me extreme patience, wisdom, and energy so that I can give it to these 4.  Those qualities are not innate in me.  I know that I would not know how to unconditionally love and take care of these children nor would I work on getting better for them.

 

  As I try to love on them the best I can, I am reminded of God's perfect love.  He loves us so much that he sent Jesus to die for all of the yuckiness and ugliness in the world.  Including that which is in my heart and life.  We celebrate Easter because he did not only die, but he rose to life.  He overcame death, he has power over the darkness, the evil, and those things that hold us captive.  That is worth celebrating!
