Costume play

The boys have been in and out of their costumes a lot as of late.  Joel especially.

  It's only made Ava want to be like her older sibs more and so the minute the boys strip down to their undies, she's running into the room to get her dress.  It is so adorable.

She gets sad when we take it off, so we don't.

  Even when making cookies.  I should have played dress up and put on my super mom costume, you know because I have one.  :)  Mike was away for a couple of days and I was keeping us busy (messy) with making sugar cookies.

 

  That was the first of 3 short trips that one of us is taking in a 4 week period.  The second was mine this past weekend up in Seattle with Ava.  The third is yet to come in 2 weekends.  It has been crazy town here and everywhere, but the kids keep us grounded and fill our home with smiles and laughter as they change in and out of costumes.  Such characters!
