Hannah in a nutshell

  If you're wondering about Hannah since I rarely talk about her, this is her.  The world a blur around her as she speeds by in her cowgirl boots, shorts she will NOT take off, "crossfit top" because she gets too hot, and Cali trucker hat.  If you would have only seen the picture I took right before this, her arms tense on the scooter, her leg pushing down on the pavement, and her teeth clenched with a face showing determination and grit, all her efforts in trying to get maximum speed.  Perfectly, genuinely, most definitely her.

 

  I can hardly slow her down to capture a glimpse.  She is the epitomy of full.  Full of life, energy, love, ideas, and food (oh my gosh, this girl!).  My spirited child...whatever she does, she does to an extreme.  Motherhood would be much more boring without her and I mean that in a good way.  It is an honor to be her mom.  She is the one that challenges me to be a better person, mom, and wife and search for the truths that make us all wonderfully unique.  It is very hard sometimes, but the reward is so great.  And that reward is relationship*, closeness, connectedness, and ultimately love.  And when Hannah loves, she loves hard, and thank goodness I get to be the recipient of that.

*I linked my fav blogger again.  She has a way with words that I wish I could.  She said this a few weeks back that has been exactly what I have been working on for myself.  Being a present parent can be the end all.  So good!
