Things I'm Loving

It occurred to me last month that Valentine's Day was 4 weeks away and I should decorate and get ready for it.  Well, that never happened.  I didn't even sign up to bring something to Hannah's class party.  I don't even know what to say to that one.  However, we did make Valentine's this week, I even carved the conversation heart stamps they used.  Not a complete fail on my part.  And they were all excited about getting to use my special stamp pads, so I'll take that is a partial win.

I was smart this year and started them on Tuesday so that they had time to do a little each day without completely giving up.  Though one of them did try to completely give up when it came to writing everyone's name.  Making them for a whole class and a bunch of teachers does end up being a lot of Valentine's!  Joel, I mean Batman, made a bunch too and was writing his name on all of them.  Writing his name is a relatively new thing and he is pretty darn excited about it.

Concentrating so hard, it is just so cute!

I actually really do like Valentine's Day.  A chance to make and send little cards, so me.  I just never got with it enough to decorate.  I have come leaps and bounds to be fine with that.  Go me.  :)

Thought I'd share some of the things I'm currently loving in honor of Valentine's Day:
-This Dress Me Playground line of fabric from my FAVORITE fabric shop.  One fabric is all animals, the other fabric is all of their clothes.  Cut out their clothes and dress the animals.  How cute is that?
-The 79 degree weather the past couple of days and into the weekend.

-My chai tea, pretty much every day at naptime.
-This cookbook I got that I shared a little while back.
-My new hairdo.
-My new Fresh Ink I picked up in Seattle.  So many gorgeous colors and so many fun combos!
-The 5 Love Languages for kids.  Read the Love Languages for adults 10 years ago, but the kids one was good too.  Great reminders for kids and adults!!  I just looked up the link on Amazon and man, those authors are going to stretch that pretty penny as far as it will go...there is one for teens, singles, an abridged version.
-Lastly, my husband who told me he thinks the world of me, even though I'm not always the rockstar he says I am.  Isn't he just the best?

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
