Beautiful day in the city

   Spent the day in the city yesterday and it was hot!  Today is supposed to be hotter, this whole week is actually which came as a surprise to us all.  More pool time is in order for sure!  Anyway, we had planned to visit the city and tour around with my cousin who lives here now and we were so fortunate to have had a beautiful and clear day.

   First stop, Twin Peaks and WOWEE, what a view!!  So much to take in!  No worries, them sitting on that ledge was only a little dangerous.

There was a slight breeze, but apparently it was strong when Hannah took this picture.  And the peace sign lives on...

  You could drive to the summit, but there were two little peaks that you could also climb that were the perfect amount of "hike" with 4 young children.  And there's Katie!!!

    Had dim sum in chinatown for lunch.  I don't even know how these Chinese restaurants getaway with SUCH bad atmosphere, but people keep on coming.  With no wait, inexpensive and delicious food, hard to complain!

  Ava experienced the city through running her hand along all buildings and gates and if someone was in her way, she touched them too.  I tried stopping her, but it was no use.  All through Chinatown too.   [Insert the various emojis here.]   Hand sanitizer all around!

I wonder where she got the idea from...

    After lunch we drove across town to try ice cream at Bi-Rite Creamery which did not disappoint!

Successful adventure in the city and a fun end to our Labor Day weekend!  Why did it ever have to end?!?!
