Leggings and headbands

    I took on a new project the past couple of weeks that has been keeping me excited and busy.  Easiest clothes sewing tutorial EVER, and pretty fast too.  This super simple legging tutorial.  I'm working on quality a bit more...Ava pulling on the bottoms to bring them up to her knees isn't holding up so well.  :/  Otherwise, I bought this twin needle like the tutorial suggested, and some super cute fabric, and it works!  Now I can make a bunch of leggings for the same cost of ONE legging/headband set on Etsy.  I like cute, but I like to do it on the cheap.

  Got this pic of my cute niece today.  She received her new set and was the inspiration for this all.  My sister was wanting a set on Etsy, but they are pricey.  I told her to pick out the fabric she liked and I went to work.

  And that bow looks huge!!!  No worries, I will make her more bow headbands that fit when I see her tomorrow!  I am heading up for my original trip that I planned tomorrow and I can't wait to cuddle my little niece.

  This was RIGHT before Joel's party (obvi), and if you can believe it that white shirt came away stainless!

  I am kind of in a legging making frenzy because it is so simple and so satisfying to have something made so fast.  I bought just about every size legging at Target that you can and made templates and then returned them all.  :)  Like I said, I like cute...
