Also can be interchanged with busyness. Got some last minute orders, and I mean LAST minute last week. Of course, wanting stamps for Christmas. Thankfully, I got them all done and shipped to arrive on time!
These personalized name stamps are no stress as they are straightforward and pretty quick.
It's the face stamps that scare me a little bit, especially when I'm under a time crunch! Fortunately, I did not have to redo them!! Cross-eyes and smirks, are probably not what they are wanting on their face. It's sooo easy to do those two things.
Couple stamps can be even more stress-inducing. You mess up one face and then you have to redo them both!! I actually did mess up on the guy's facial hair the first time, and so I cut him off the girl...now they are not connected, but she turned out perfect and I was up so late already.
My first pet to carve! (and no, Jen, you did not order this one last minute!!) She turned out so good and I think this is going to be more popular once I get the thumbs up to turn her into a listing in my shop.
No joke, someone paid me to carve this girl laughing hysterically.
And this definitely was busyness, but so fun!! I had the kids help wrap caramels and for like 1.5 hours the older 3 wrapped them all up with me. We sang Christmas carols at the top of our lungs and I let them eat a few caramels, it was picture perfect in every way. They called themselves elves and Hannah even said to me, "Good thing you had 4 kids!" I posted this on insta and gave them all names: head elf, sous elf, elf-in-training, and sneaker elf. That little sneaker elf name is stuck!
And then I sent some caramels out and I DUG through my drawer to find stamps so I didn't have to wait in line at the post office. Talk about the worst place ever!! I was successful, aloha and summer harvest stamps just had to be included. Immediately after I sent them I realized I didn't send them to everyone I wanted to, oops! To you who didn't get them, I'm making another batch tonight and you'll get them late. I have not too long ago accepted the fact that I cannot do it all, so I try really hard, but don't beat myself up if I don't. In other words, I feel bad, but only sorta kinda.
Happy tuesday!!
Love the assembly line. Reminds me of watching Calvin make quesadillas last summer - mommyspiration before my eyes. Hope you find a little r and r here soon. Xoxo
