Carmel, Pt. Lobos, Big Sur
We took a drive along the coast yesterday. We left at 8:30 in the morning and came home at 8 pm. It was a wonderful day. Gorgeous, gorgeous coastline, taking in the fresh air on short hikes, seeing wildlife, adventuring and relaxing all at the same time...not much more I could ask for!
Carmel Bakery treats!
North Shore of Pt. Lobos
So excited to use his "real binoculars" he got for Christmas!!
This was a whaling cove and whalers lived here to capture whales and harvest their blubber to sell as lamp oil in the city.
Hi, sea lion!
This was on the other side of Pt. Lobos.
Where we saw whales!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sea lions on that rock right in front. Whale off to the distance on the left said hi as I was waiting for one in the middle to spray. You can only imagine my delight!
Driving down to Big Sur during nap time.
I didn't get a pic, but there was a lot of cow pastures right along the beach side. Lots of cows!!! Pretty amazing land for those cows.
A beach stop along 17 mile drive.
After 17 mile drive, we went back into Carmel for dinner to complete our day. We are going to definitely go back down the coast, next time it will be during a warmer month!!
Beautiful California, I want to see more of you! God's creation never gets old, never ceases to amaze.

You cover a lot of ground and take amazing photos to boot. Mamaspiration!
