Flower friday | hibiscus

    Went on a field trip yesterday with Hannah to the beach again that I want to share, but first, Flower friday!!

  This happened this week!!!  This beautiful hibiscus bloomed on tuesday and is now gone.  I forgot how fast they come and go, but I happened to have the camera at the ready watching it bloom and wither.  My plant is growing crooked and lopsided.  It might need a new container to become larger and produce more blooms, but for now I am happy to enjoy the couple of blooms it produces each year.

  This was thursday and today the bloom is on the table.  It's quick! 

  I love these flowers because they remind me of Hawaii!  I can have a little piece of Hawaii in my home.  I included them in my 2016 calendar this year and was happy with how they turned out.  This was part of my "drawing board" stage of developing the calendar.  I carved over 50 stamps just for this one calendar.  I am not going to do that again.  ;)

  I am currently seeking more inspiration for my next calendar and am part of the way there.  I need to start WAY sooner this year!
