Flower friday | Ranunculus

  I may start a new series here...fresh flowers make me SO happy!!

  Let me introduce you to my new favorite flower, the ranunculus.  Smaller than a peony (my all time fave), but similarly lush and full and you can fill a little vase with a whole bunch!

  Just picked up a few bouquets at TJs and I couldn't help myself!  Enjoy.

Placed on top of an old Rifle Paper Co. calendar.  The colors matched perfectly this month!

  I am becoming an old flower/plant lady.  Staring at the garden beds every where I go.  We went to the SF zoo today and I was taking pictures of flowers and leaves.  Wanting to know their names, wondering if I could plant my own.  Completely drawn to the wild flower gardens and fields I see while I drive and explore.  Judging a neighborhood by its gardens or an outdoor mall by it's potted plants.  They are just so beautiful and I want to surround myself.  I am such a garden nerd and I don't even know that much about plants.  However, I have come a long way since calling myself a "black thumb."  haha!
