Hand painted beads

  One saturday morning about a month or so back, we had a family painting session.  I have had these wooden beads in my craft drawer for over a year with the intention of painting them and then making necklaces or keychains.  Lot of ideas...little time.

   When I said the family, I meant the whole family.  You will not see Mike painting with us in another million years.  lol!

I just chose colors I liked and hoped they would go together well!

   Finally strung them up yesterday!  We made about 13 necklaces like this and still have a handful of beads leftover.

   I used strips of knit fabric for the string.  These were all inspired by these cute necklaces.  But I can't spend $25 plus shipping for one kids necklace I know I can make by myself.  It just takes me a year or so.

   I took LOTS of pics with the idea that I might put these up in my shop.  What do you think?

   What is your favorite color combo?  Do you have other ideas?
