Tonsillectomy and life with 4

It is no surprise that our life is busy.  Everyone's is, I know it, you know it.  Somehow, amongst almost every day and night having something, I feel like we are thriving.  A decent amount of divide and conquer with 2 in baseball and 1 doing Girls on the Run and we are in a healthy and manageable rhythm.  Thankfully we have had some nice weather to enjoy while out and about town too.

Yesterday, Hannah had a tonsillectomy, so our life has slowed a bit.  We will be sticking around home while she recovers.  The surgery went well and if you have ever had to watch a child be wheeled away from you multiple times for surgery then you would probably like to know that I have mostly recovered as well.  That never gets easier!  She is in some pain, but so far doing great.  Hoping it continues for the next week!

Enjoy some snapshots of our life from the past couple of weeks.

Reading time, cleaning up, etc. somehow turns into selfie time.

We got some veggies in the ground!!  We still have some seeds to plant, but Mike did the heavy lifting and filled all of our gardens and got them ready for planting.  We are waiting expectantly this year!!

Joel's art shout school.  His rooster on display!

   Can't be left out!

 Sunbathing in the backyard!

 All smiles before surgery.

One of 70+ pictures found on my phone that Ava took while she was listening to the Moana soundtrack on my phone.  Sucking one of her "crunchy" blankies as she likes to call them.  Basically one that has already been sucked on.  If you are cringing like me, at least you don't have to touch them!!

Happy wednesday!
