Spring break SF day

Last week during spring break we made our way up to the city.

First stop was Lai Hong Lounge which is my cousin's favorite dim sum place in SF, but EVERY TIME we drive by there is a line out of the door.  We decided to get there soon after it opened and we still had to wait.  We got there at 10:30 am!!  It was really good, but sadly my kids whined about every thing that had shrimp in it and it was in a lot of things.  My kids don't like seafood.  There, I said it.  I feel a HUGE mom fail because of it.  I even fed it to them when they were little, but one of the children who has great influence on the others has poisoned them with the idea that they don't like seafood.  Ugh.

On our way to Land's End we drove down the infamous Lombard street.  The kids thought it was a roller coaster and laughed the whole way down.

We have walked around Land's End before, but had never gone down to the Sutro baths.  The kids had a great time climbing in and out of the old concrete structures.  I didn't have a chance to stop and read the placards to get the whole story of these baths (for fear of one of my children falling into the water!!), but I believe there were steam baths that people would come to.

Along the way you also get a good shot of the Golden Gate.  My dad had never been and I'm glad we got to take him on such a nice day!  We didn't stay long, we were all tired and so we headed home right after this.

Happy tuesday!
