Shoreline Park

    We just had a great weekend, relaxing, rejuvenating, and also filled with fun stuff.  We decided to skip Hannah's swim meet on Saturday and opted for a family bike ride and run instead.  Ava is almost old enough to ride in a bike seat (can't wait)!  We explored the trails in Shoreline Park in Mountain View which is at the very south tip of San Francisco Bay.  It is a large park with lots of paved and gravel trails, a golf course, a lake, and a large amphitheater. 

    We took over this play area as is always the case when we roll in to a playground.  People often stop what they are doing and just stare, before you know it we are the only ones left playing.

      We had no timeline, no agenda, and it was soo nice.  Everyone was in good spirits and we just enjoyed hanging out as a family and finding a fun new place.  Sometimes you just have to say no, even to things that are super fun.
