Still life

I tried to get fancy with my produce shots.

It is just still so exciting and amazing every time I can walk out of my house and harvest SO much fruit.  And I can practice using my camera without it squirming and/or frowning at me.  Still life.  Don't know what that is.  :)

Someone before us planted potatoes, thank you whoever you are.  We dug them up last week, roasted them, and had them for dinner just 2 hours after digging them out of the ground.  Love this.

The apricots have all gotten ripe at once.  There was no way we could eat them all.

So, right after Mike picked almost all of them he immediately made some jam.  Yum!

You guys are probably getting super bored with my garden.  (I don't really care about your potatoes, Lindsay.)  I will try not to turn this into a garden blog, but it is just one of the things that is consuming my life right now.  It's either this or the pool, both of which I feel a slave to right now.  Both good things, but both a lot of work.  I have been dreaming of lazy summer days, but so far our time off has been anything but.  I know it will come though and with great work, comes great reward.  At least I hope so.

Happy Monday!
