Awards
Hannah gets the special ribbon awards today.
Partially because of her swim meet last Saturday.
That she continues to just love. Still smiling!
(Okay, Joel gets the special award for cheering. If only you could have seen and heard him. I die.)
And the other part is for being so resilient and getting her tooth pulled yesterday like it was no big deal. Remember the problem with her tooth last time? Well, same problem, but the baby tooth was not coming out on its own this time around. She is seriously so crazy tough.
And since we are handing out awards today, Mom and Dad get the "Parent Fail Award." Hannah woke me up this morning to tell me that the tooth fairy DID NOT COME. Oh man. I didn't know what to say. She went on to say, "Maybe she broke her wing." How precious is that?!?! I came up with a great excuse and assured her that the tooth fairy would definitely be back tonight. :/
Oh my word, that's funny. Hannah is a sweetheart. Well hopefully the tooth fairy pulls it together tonight wink wink.

ReplyDeleteThat's what everyone tells me! However, I am a parent now and parents can be real sly at trading. I'm pretty sure those big bills were traded for ones.
