No shots necessary

Look at this sweet face!  Look at that loose tooth.  So exciting.  Except, it's been loose for over a month now.  And just last week, she pointed something out to us that wasn't so exciting.

Yes, you see the problem was that her permanent tooth was coming in, but not where it is supposed to.  Clearly.  After some freaking out (yes, Mike, you freaked out!), and me talking to my Aunt who is a dentist, we knew we had to get the tooth out or the dentist would.  We explained to Hannah that it needed to come out or else the dentist might have to, and that might include shots in her gums.  Either the fear tactic worked, or she was really excited for the tooth fairy to come because she put her game face on to get this baby (tooth) out.

String around the tooth and shutting the door.  Nope.

The intensity on both of their faces.  Yeah, this didn't work either.  The situation was looking grim.

Then today, just an hour before the phone to the dentist was going to be made, I did some serious wiggling of her tooth and popped it out easy with the pliers!  She was very excited.  It's been an exciting day for her because today (one week late), Frozen finally arrived and she was over the moon.  However, after her tooth came out she said, "This is the best thing ever, even better than getting Frozen!"  Now that is saying something.

Happy toothless Tuesday!
