Nintendo 64
We brought out some vintage goodness last night. Mike turned into a giddy little school boy as he set up his old Nintendo 64 and showed the kids how to play Mario Kart. Calvin has been asking about video games ever since he played the Wii in his class at my mom's group. He was loving it last night too!
Poor Hannah was getting frustrated...she wanted to be perfect at it and wasn't. Give her a few more tries and she'll be racing Mike for real. She is just a quick learner like that.
Joel was happy to hold the controller. When I showed him how to do it, he was going in circles because he would push the controller in the same direction the whole time.
Mike had no mercy on his children's gaming skills... It was like he went back in time and was sitting with his friends, battling and racing and trying to beat them. Calvin on the other hand, was stuck in the future, trying to steer Yoshi with his controller and not using the buttons. So cute!
Outtake from last night. Ava bringing me her game, but not quite able to make it to me on two feet. :) It is crazy seeing her walking around. My baby!!
Have a great Tuesday!
So fun!! Levi is the same as Hannah; Luke (and Mike) make it look so easy that Levi (and Hannah) get mad when they can't do it as easily! Frustration ensues. Levi can play Wii, N64 and a little SNES... but we have to limit his game time especially since school has started up.
