Pomegranates

The pomegranate tree is bursting with ripe fruit.

Mike picked a bunch as they are a hot commodity amongst our friends, and good thing, I hate to see any of it go to waste.  They really aren't the funnest thing to pick as the tree is full of thorns and it will getcha!

Ava wanted to lend a hand as well.

This is her communicating with Mike.  She adores him!!

And then her asking face.  "Can I get up here?"  Her "ask face" usually is over food and includes some jabbering.  It is so cute we can't stand it, but if you don't respond to her cute little face it quickly turns into the pterodactyl screeches.  All too quickly.

Our guavas are ripe too.  This was one fruit I wasn't sure about what it was last year.  It has been confirmed that it is guava.  Yum!  Our satsumas are ripe too, but unfortunately we only have about 1/4 the amount we did last year.  It wasn't pruned or something didn't make it bear much fruit.  I'm limiting the kids to one a day, whereas last year they probably had 3 each day and it lasted for over a month.  There were so many!

Have a great World Series Wednesday!
