Swimming and CrossFit weekend

The last weekend in July is forevermore to be associated with end of swim team festivities and the CrossFit games.  Unless one of the two organizations changes things up.  Which would be awesome if they did, because it would be awesome to attend the games some year.  Anyway, our weekend was full of watching the CrossFit games competitors compete (read: suffer), and Hannah's championship meet and awards banquet.  It was perfect weather, which you probably think that's what I always think, but it really was this time.  With tomorrow and wednesday forecasted around 100 and the week after in the high 90s, I was SO thankful this weekend was in the low 80s.

Hannah missed the last two meets of the season since we were away in Seattle and the last meet we attended she had to leave early because she wasn't feeling well, so we were due for a good meet.

This cute girl did not disappoint!  With best times in every race, including dropping 4 seconds in the 50 free, we ended the season on such a great note.

Then the awards banquet the next day and we are done with swim team.  Which is sad, but kind of exciting.  No more racing off in the morning to get to practice!  We are on the fence about fall swim team, but for now we will enjoy our break.

Happy Monday!
