Throwback to Seaside, OR 2009

  Was looking through some pictures recently when I was cleaning out my craft supplies and found this gem from September 2009 when Hannah was just shy of 2 years of old.  We took a little vacay for a week in Seaside, OR.  This picture of Hannah could be Ava right now.  I mean it is the same girl.  The setting is the only thing that could tell me who is who.  This cute little cheese face is the exact face I see all of the time from Ava right now.  If it could be bottled up, I wouldn't need anything else in this life.

  Couldn't find the perfect picture of Ava cheesin', so here is a collage.  Ava will be 2 in one month.  Are they the same or what?

And since it's Thursday, thought I'd do a throwback of other pics from that Seaside trip:

    Let me give you some context.  I was just getting over the yucky sickness of the first trimester of Calvin's pregnancy and a busy summer of coaching swim team.  We were also in the 3rd month of Mike being laid off from Microsoft.  We were in need of a vacay and a little change of scenery.

  Before hitting the beach though, we had to make a stop at the outlets nearby.  When we got to the beach house and went to change Hannah into a new outfit, we couldn't find her bag.  We forgot all of her clothes at home.  With school back in session, the outlet stores were on clearance clearance and we STOCKED Hannah's wardrobe.  Such a funny memory.

We also took a day trip to Tillamook and Hannah and I shared the pumpkin ice cream.

Which she apparently thought was as divine as I did.
