Friends and family friday

  Oh my, where has the time gone?  I don't even remember where I left off.  I am not such a great blogger anymore, but that is okay because I'm making up for it by being such a great mother.  Not!  If I could count the number of times this week that I have felt so down about this parenting gig you would certainly lose count!  But oh, how I love them so...

  We had a very busy weekend last weekend and before we embark on another I wanted to catch up.  We went to our saturday morning swim meet and that afternoon our dear friends from the OC came through on their drive back up to Seattle.  They moved home.  And the only picture evidence is of Ava talking to Slater dawg below.  They left sunday and overlapped for a brief moment as some family came into town through wednesday.

  She didn't get nipped this time, but I'm sure she was close to it a number of times.

  We had our first fire of the season and Mike decided to light up the Christmas tree that shot into a blazing fire in a half a second.  My poor apple tree!!!!!!!!!!!!

  He was so proud, but I couldn't help but shake my head... 

  Jonathan and family came into town to hang out with us for a few days and spoiled us with all the tasty treats!

   It was so hot.  We all rode to the bumpy bumps and they only lasted a short time.  Popsicles weren't enough to cool them off!

  If you know my children at all, they were ALL OVER our guests.  Play with me, do this with me, can you do this?, can you come here?, take a video of me, show me that video, etc. etc.  They are so well loved.  Not to mention, us parents feel spoiled by getting to watch.  We are told they don't mind, but I am sure they are exhausted by the end of their time with us!!
