Lake Tahoe Camping

We went camping!!!!  We did it!  Another check off the summer list!

 

   We decided we wanted to take advantage of this long weekend and go camping sometime near the end of May.  We were late to the game, but we found a spot in South Lake Tahoe last monday and booked it!  Borrowed some gear, ordered a bunch last week, and we were set.  Lots of pictures to follow!

 Besides the big stuff, I didn't worry about bringing every last little thing.  We were going camping, we needed to rough it a tiny bit.  Made it so much less stressful for me and I figured we could make do for 2 nights if we were missing something.  Of the multiple things I did forget, tweezers and bandaids, are what I will not forget next time.   I would say our first "camping experience" (as the kids keep saying) was a huge success.  We are happy to be in our own bed now, but otherwise we had a great time!
