My favorite month!

  I am so excited it is July 1st!  I love July because it is my birthday month AND it is sunny AND we are usually just having loads of fun outside.  This year marks a summer that is kind of a bigger deal than normal.  The last time I had a big eventful year was between July 2004-June 2005 in which I turned 21, got married, then graduated from college.  If you do the math, it means this month I turn 30!!  And to top off the grand year, next month we're having our 4th and final baby!  Before I get too overwhelmed with the upcoming events, here is a recap of our very packed weekend.

 

Friday, my dear friend, Kathryn, came into town for our friend's wedding.  We had a lovely dinner outside.

On Saturday, Kathryn and I went to the pool to swim laps and then Mike and the kids met us there when we were done.

Later that evening we went to the beautiful wedding.

It's the brand new Mrs. and us!

  On Sunday, I took Kathryn to the airport in the morning and when I came home I crashed!  I wanted to take a power nap before heading to church, but when Mike came to tell me it was time to go I opted to continue sleeping.  I had no idea I was as tired as I was, but I ended up sleeping for 3 hours and was still in bed when Mike and the kids came home.  I was so thankful he let me sleep because I know he was tired too.

After naps, we headed up north to have dinner and play with our friends.  These were the friends we cancelled on so many times when we were sick.  It was so good to get together!

 

 We were trying to get Joel to give her a kiss, but she was not wanting it.  It was so funny!  These two are about 6 weeks apart.

 

They have 2 ducks and Hannah was the only brave one to try to hold one.  Joel, on the other hand, kept a very safe distance.
