Calvin's first day of preschool

  We sent another one off to school today.  Calvin had been counting down the days until he got to start at "Mena" (Samena).  Here he is all ready to go in his swim trunks (they have the kids wear their suits to school so they don't have to take time to change them each day).

 

You all know the drill.  One nice smile picture grants you lots of silly face pictures.

 

 

  We showed up a little early to watch him swim.  When we got there I was surprised to see his head completely dry.  The teacher came up to us and told us he left his goggles in his backpack and didn't want to wear the pool ones.  Sounds about right.

As soon as Mike got his goggles for him we could barely get him to keep his head out of the water.

That's more like the little swimmer we know!

He had a great day!  I was a little worried, but I guess it was for not.  My how he has grown.
