Remlinger Farms
We squeezed in a trip to Remlinger Farms on sunday after church. (This is also where we picked raspberries back in July.) It was the second time we had been to the amusement park area and the kids remembered it from last year. The first thing they wanted to do was ride the ponies. I asked Joel if he wanted to ride one knowing he has a fear of being close to real animals. He answered by hopping/dancing around singing "pony, pony, pony." I figured he wanted to.
Well, there's Joel in Mike's arms. He didn't quite make it onto the pony. There was a pony ready for him to ride even. Mike lifted him up and as he was about to set him on the saddle, Joel let out this horrific squeal and he lifted his legs so fast he almost was flying. Maybe next year. :)
Hannah got to ride a big one this year.
Joel was all about the train!
They enjoyed the boat ride too!
Hannah was most excited about steering the car.
Even Joel got a turn to steer. I think he liked it!
This place is perfect for our kids' ages. The lines are short, there aren't a ton of people, and the place isn't overwhelmingly huge. As a plus, they have a market where you can buy fresh produce, frozen berries (Their blueberries are THE best! They are also really expensive in the store, but not at their market.), and pies. We brought home some goodies for sure! It turned out to be a fun and beautiful day at the farm.
We should have bought the groupon! D'oh!
