Reminiscing and an official announcement

  A couple of weeks ago I took this picture of Ava.  She was about 3 weeks old.  I know she is little, but she just looks so big to me!  From the time she was about 4-5 days old, she never seemed like a teeny tiny little thing to me.  The scale was proving it too.  Anyway, I took this picture because Mike took one of Hannah like it when she was a new baby and it is one of my most favorite pictures of Hannah.

 

Here Hannah is at only 10 days old.  She's on our couch at our first house.

 

 I tried taking Ava's on the couch, but it wasn't really turning out.  She is so cute, but the pictures just weren't the same.  :)

 

This was the context when we just had Hannah.  Me, quietly reading on the couch next to a sleeping baby.  It just looks calm and peaceful in that picture!

 

These days peace and quiet is hardly happening.  That's Calvin behind Ava.  He was upset about something and was showing me by photobombing my pictures.  :)

 

  I'm in a reminiscing kind of mood lately.  Fall is kind of like that.  It's also because we're taking a huge leap of faith in a week and a half and I am finally realizing it's actually going to happen.  I've kind of kept a BIG secret on my blog and it is finally okay to tell.  Mike has accepted an offer at Apple so we are moving to California!!  Like for real.  My dreams of sunshine are coming true!!  However, I am sad to leave my family and friends that are so dear to us and especially our kids.  You may see some reminiscing in the coming week.  It's gonna be fun!
