My swim meet

 

  This past weekend, my Masters team had our annual event.  We swam some events and then had a big potluck, it was far from the swim meet experience Hannah had in mind when we told her I had a swim meet.  She walked onto the pool deck and clearly her mind was churning, then she asked, "Where are all of the people?"  Haha.

 

  There was not a whole lot of people that came to watch, but my cheering squad was definitely the largest and loudest (and cutest I might add!).

 

 

  Swimming is "my thing."  Over a decade out of competitive swimming and 4 kids later, I am thankful that I still get to do my thing.  I also love my Masters group.  We have to get up early, but we still have fun, work hard, and I have never regretted getting up to go.  Being in California, there are some pretty fast swimmers in Masters, which gives me that competitive drive to work hard and get faster!
