"It's so hard to say good-bye"

  Two of my faithful blog readers (pictured) kindly reminded me over the weekend that it had been x days since I've blogged.  x being a larger number than they like, I guess.  I kindly reminded them that I've been a little bit busy lately.  :)  And we most certainly have been.  From Mike being off all week last week to the steady stream of visitors, we had so so so much fun.  We also had to say good-bye to every adult except one in this room.  That also included our daddy, who is on a work trip across the country.  As I was putting to bed a very sad Calvin last night, he looked at me and said, "It's so hard to say good-bye."

 

It sure is.

 

  Lots of adventures to share soon.  I am still fighting my cold (going on two weeks) and catching up on my sleep from this weekend (games and cards late into the night), so my regular blog time was taken by a 2 hour nap today.  And that was exactly what I needed.  But I am now officially back.  And happy to be here.
