Home sweeeeet home | Charleston
We are now home from our amazing trip and I'm sure some of you are dying to hear how it was. And I have been dying to get these pictures off of our camera. I am not sure when I will have time to sort through them all, but I can give you a sneak peek into our living quarters for the week.
Our singlehouse on Line Street. Not too far from the main downtown district along King Street.
I saw the inside and was smitten, but when I saw this bison head, I knew it was meant to be.
Our company for the week was Millie, who thought she'd just snuggle up on my scarf.
Better known as "Three-legged Millie." I'm not a huge animal person, let alone cat person, but she certainly was a part of our journey in Charleston.
We took a lot of selfies, so get used to them. I will probably also make you sick with how much I talk about the charm, but oh my gosh, it is soooo charming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Real talk. I mean who are we kidding with how many shots it took to get a "good enough" one?
We loved staying in this singlehouse!
However, we were hardly there! We were always out exploring--walking the very old historic streets, learning fascinating things, taking in the rich culture, capturing the charm of the city, and eating some incredible food. Incredible.
You may wonder why we went to Charleston. Rest assured, you will know why by the end of my blogs about our trip. We did everything from touristy to completely off the beaten path stuff, and we absolutely loved it all!
