Hannah's celebrations

Hannah didn't have a birthday party this year for obvious reasons, but before we knew we were going to move she had talked about a spa party with stations.  A station for make-up, one for nails, one for hair, etc.  Well, since I wasn't able to make that happen, we got manicures together.

She immediately gravitated toward bright pink and bright green.  I do like bright colors, but I did not pick those.

Sunday, we invited friends over for katsudon and cake, both at Hannah's request.  This is the yummiest and chocolatiest cake you ever could make.

Is she really 6?  I still can't believe it!

Grandma came in town on her birthday and got her exactly what she asked for.  Hannah had told her "Go to the Disney store, find a dress, buy it, and then I can wear it to sleep."  Well, Hannah also wanted to wear it out to dinner and to school and we had to remind her that they were jammies!

We went out to dinner at Red Robin on her birthday and she proudly wore her birthday crown from school.  She seemed to have a very special day!

  1. Wow what an amazing birthday for her!! You did such an amazing job. I feel like no party on earth could have compared to a full day dedicated to her and filled with so much love. Parties can't compare!
